A leaking water heater is one of the most common plumbing problems there is, and if you're here, then you probably have questions.
So, let's right to get right to the point.
We install water heaters seven days a week.
Yes, that's right, even on the weekend.
We're No Extra Charge, Nights, Weekends, or Holidays!
The water heaters we install have a manufacturers warranty of six years for the water heater tank and six years on mechanical parts. (other extended tank and parts warranty may be available)
We supply a labor warranty on all of our tank-type water heaters for six years.
That's a six year Worry-Free Warranty for parts and labor.
What does that include?
Everything that's part of the water heater.
The manufacturer's warranty includes all the mechanical parts of the water heater and includes the tank itself. As long as the same model water heater you've purchased is available, its replacement isn't going to cost you a dime!
If there is a warranty need for a water heater that we provide and install we will handle that for you!
Does Connor Plumbing install tankless water heaters?
Yes, you bet.
How do I get a new water heater?
Just call us and we'll get you hot water today, tonight, or even this weekend. We want you to be comfortable—call us and set your appointment.
Does Connor Plumbing offer water heater repair service?
Yes, we do! As long as service parts are available. Some water heater manufacturers have wonky components that are prone to failure. We'll tell you up front if your water heater is worth a repair. Some parts for older water heaters are difficult to obtain and cost almost as much as a new water heater! We promise to give you honest options and let you decide.
When we supply your water heater, you can rest assured that we're going to take care of it!
How much does it cost to get a water heater replaced?
Ah, the the big question. What does it cost? Well, for that one, you're just going to have to call us.
We'll need to know the type of water heater, (gas or electric), gallon capacity, location in home, (i.e. attic, garage, etc). From there we can give you a pretty accurate estimate for replacement.
We're honest, we're not going to shoot you a "special" low price over the phone and then show up with with a bunch of "uh-oh" add-ons once our foot is in the door. We don't like to be treated that way, and we're not going to treat you that way.
The Connor Plumbing Warranty ensures the lowest cost of ownership, and peace of mind.
Upcoming Changes For Water Heaters and What That Means To You:
Occasionally water heater manufacturers are required to update and change their product to meet federal safety requirements or Department Of Energy efficiency requirements. In the past some models have required upgrades with upgrade costs, even under warranty, but that doesn't happen very often. The last such safety upgrade was in July 2003 and it concerned gas water heaters only. Electric water heaters were not affected.
On April 16, 2015, the new 2015 DOE Final Rule energy efficient mandates will require higher Energy Factor (EF) ratings on virtually all residential water heaters.
National Appliance Energy Conservation Act (NAECA) comes into law on 4/16/15. This is going to have significant impact on how all water heaters are manufactured, distributed and installed. This will especially impact gas water heaters because some models may require new exhaust venting, electric connections for electric powered controls and even some will require drainage outlets for condensate. This may make getting your water heater replaced with the mandated replacement models significantly more expensive due to the new components and other mechanical features. There will also be addition maintenance cost incurred because of the newer complex designs. Oh, the things we have to do for efficiency!
When the mandate goes into effect, electric water heaters will probably just get thicker insulation, so gas to electric conversion may be a better option.
